Boy GO somewhere with that madness.See my hair in that picture? I have been natural since I was about 17 years old. I was single when I decided to go natural. Its curly and wavy. When I straighten it, it literally flows down my back. The Black guy I was interested in at that time always told me I need to have long, straight weave. He would tell me that I was more pretty with straight hair. Honestly, I have never gotten face to face compliment from a black guy on my hair. Just saying… :)

Its funny how it takes a WM to get a BW to stop that. When we ask them they get mad.

BW will do as shes told, be submissive and shut her mouth to get & keep a white man.

Thank you for this video! When I was little i used to be blonde and be a barbie doll…. even though I am Asian… I used to color my hair blonde when I drew myself. I didn’t have Sesame Street to do this when i was little, I didn’t found out I love myself the way I am now…until I got older… and I am happy someone is doing that for the younger generations.

I am so happy Sesame Street did this video. So proud! My daughter is only 7 months old and she is glued to the screen when it comes on. I have to admit I sing the song at work. This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I just love this! Although I have naturally straight blonde hair (and I like my own hair too!), I just loveeee afro’s. They look so flirty and cute and fun, but also cool and funky. I would absolutely have an afro if I had the right kind of hair for it :D .

This cute song has came way too late! Most of black women have been conditioned to have straight hair. And it will be passed down for generations to come. Short hair for them is NOT an option.

Do you know that JESUS CHRIST can give you everlasting life ? – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Open your heart to JESUS CHRIST

I was really self-conscious about my hair, paying hundreds to have it chemically straightened.

This is unintentionally hilarious but absolutely adorable. I can appreicate the message for little girls of self-acceptance though.
