Richard Scarry’s Old MacDonald’s Farm and Other Animal Tales (Part 1)

It’s my pleasure to present to you the first Golden Book Video I collected, complete and in high quality, entitled “Richard Scarry’s Old MacDonald’s Farm and Other Animal Tales.” Part 1 covers the story of Old MacDonald’s Farm. Come to the MacDonald Family Reunion and sing along with Ma and Pa and an unforgettable group of kinfolk as they sing the classic song, “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.” BTW, the story is not adapted from a Golden Book, and merely reuses illustrations from other Richard Scarry books. (C) 1986 Western Publishing Company, Inc

This is a song by the Russian band Caprice. They have sung many songs from the LOTR books. This is the song which Aragorn sang in the book ‘the fellowship of the ring’ and, very shortly, in the extended edition of the fellowship of the ring movie. You can hear his version also in the song ‘the nazgul’ somewhere near the end or search for the video: Aragorn sings in the marshes. Below are the lyrics of the song that Tolkien wrote, Caprice didn’t use everything: The leaves were long, the grass was green, The hemlock-umbels tall and fair, And in the glade a light was seen Of stars in shadow shimmering. Tinuviel was dancing there To music of a pipe unseen, And light of stars was in her hair, And in her raiment glimmering. There Beren came from mountains cold, And lost he wandered under leaves, And where the Elven-river rolled. He walked along and sorrowing. He peered between the hemlock-leaves And saw in wonder flowers of gold Upon her mantle and her sleeves, And her hair like shadow following. Enchantment healed his weary feet That over hills were doomed to roam; And forth he hastened, strong and fleet, And grasped at moonbeams glistening. Through woven woods in Elvenhome She lightly fled on dancing feet, And left him lonely still to roam In the silent forest listening. He heard there oft the flying sound Of feet as light as linden-leaves, Or music welling underground, In hidden hollows quavering. Now withered lay the hemlock-sheaves, And one by one with sighing sound

Are you going to record a movie of Once Upon a Potty for Him including the introduction, the story, “The Potty Song” and the credits before uploading it on your channel coming soon? Sincerely, Sam Gross.

Little typo in the sing-along subtitles at 6:56. It says “Here AND oink there AND oink” instead of “Here an oink there an oink”.

I know of some that the entire thing is sing-alongs, such as “Sing Giggle and Grin” and “See Sing and Play.”

I don’t know, I don’t have the CD, just this song and some others. But the CD is called: Elvenmusic 2: the evening of Iluvatar’s children. That might help.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best book. You should read Revelation’s description of heaven :)

    Oui, c’est vrai. Merci!

  35. peacecanhappen27 04. Jun, 2012 at 12:34 pm #
