Kaipaava: Rajaton A Cappella Multitrack

We are singing Kaipaava (The Longing One), by Essi Wuorela and Jussi Chydenius as performed by Rajaton and recorded on their 2001 album Boundless. It is a Finnish folk song, with text taken from the Kanteletar. We sang the 6 parts a cappella (with no instruments), and recorded the videos. Sorry if our Finnish isn’t great – we don’t speak it. (this version is a re-upload: I fixed the low volume problem on the original video). Also, I think the audio’s a bit late compared to the video – I’ll try to improve that for future videos! ——— Update 11/01/09 Some viewers are concerned that I do not have permission to perform this song.
